Job description
Duties
Extensive work experience to write design manuals for the consumption of the R&D team. Must be able to understand the technical aspects of what they write. Must continue learning various technological aspects that are relevant to their company. Required to do a lot of reading related to technical processes and technological terms that are being used at their organization.
- Drafting and reviewing Design Manual document intended to be used for Customers and Business unit for developing system Firmware/ Hardware.
- Specification/requirements released by Design team leads to draft this Design Manual
- Ensure to review the prelim drafts during stages with Design Leads/POC
- Publish Design Manual in expected PDF format to stake holders
- Conduct periodic reviews, release procedure, communication
Skills - Must have experience:
- Minimum 2 years' relevant work experience as a technical writer in semiconductor/ VLSI/ Firmware domain.
- Candidate must have experience in preparing instruction manuals/ design manuals for electronic hardware.
- Technical expertise in handling ASIC Design related documentations.
- Advanced communication skills, verbal and written (email/stake holder communication etc.)
- Adaptability/Agile to learn and understand Design specs, Memory Design basics.
- Analytical knowledge and expertise for quick turnaround of the tasks.
- Good to have experience:
- Experience in RTL (Register Transfer Level) design. Knowledge on Design specs and Memory Design basics.
- Exclusions:
- Aeronautical, ASML and Software background
Education: BE/ B.Tech ECE preferred. CS, EEE, Instrumentation and control can also be considered.
