Job Title: Operations Manager - Non-Scheduled Aircraft Operations**
**Job Description:**
**Position Overview:**
The Operations Manager for Non-Scheduled Aircraft Operations is responsible for the efficient and safe execution of all operational aspects related to non-scheduled flights within the organization. This role involves overseeing flight planning, crew scheduling, ground operations, and ensuring compliance with aviation regulations.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Flight Planning and Coordination:**
- Develop comprehensive flight plans, considering factors such as weather, air traffic, and fuel requirements.
- Coordinate with relevant authorities for necessary permits and clearances for non-scheduled flights.
2. **Crew Management:**
- Schedule and coordinate flight and cabin crew assignments for non-scheduled operations.
- Ensure crew members are adequately trained, qualified, and compliant with regulatory requirements.
3. **Ground Operations:**
- Oversee ground handling services, including aircraft servicing, loading/unloading, and passenger services.
- Coordinate with ground service providers to ensure efficient turnaround times.
4. **Regulatory Compliance:**
- Stay current with aviation regulations and ensure all non-scheduled operations adhere to relevant rules and requirements.
- Liaise with aviation authorities to obtain necessary approvals for non-routine operations.
5. **Safety and Emergency Preparedness:**
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures for non-scheduled flights.
- Develop and regularly update emergency response plans for unforeseen circumstances.
6. **Communication and Coordination:**
- Foster effective communication between various departments, including maintenance, flight operations, and ground services.
- Act as the main point of contact for communication with relevant aviation authorities.
**Qualifications and Requirements:**
- Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management or a related field.
- Extensive experience in aviation operations, with a focus on non-scheduled flights.
- In-depth knowledge of aviation regulations and procedures.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
