Sr Manager CFT Ledger & Consolidation

Job description
- Work with other teams across Technology - identifying, refining, and delivering more automated processes that improve efficiency and add capability and value to the business.
- Drive the best use of our strategic technology with our stakeholders in conjunction with the CFT Portfolio Leads and Head of CFT Platforms.
- Ensure teams are right-sized and TCO targets met for software across the platform in conjunction with the Head of CFT Platforms.
- Ensure key processes and controls are in place, fully documented and operate with enough cover to give assurance of system availability to meet deadlines and business demands including management of regression testing to ensure functionality is maintained following regular patching and upgrade cycles across the platform.
- Manage the service and small change within the Ledger and reconciliation platform e.g. Infor SUN, Broadridge Revport, Oracle Fusion Cloud, Peoplesoft, Smartstream TLM, Docusign and Qlik.
- Manage the service and small change with FPA and Consolidation platforms e.g. Oracle EPM, Tagetik, Smartview solutions, etc.
- Ensure regular service reviews are held with vendors and partners and KPIs are met
- Ensure the maintenance of accurate records, filing and audit trail of activities undertaken and compliance with all internal PAR and audit requests.
- Work with external Audit to manage the pipeline of requests and responses in a timely manner.
- Ensure a consistently high-quality level of service and support is provided to CFT stakeholders
- Help to lead system and process improvements and upgrades to existing products working with the wider IT and security teams and our stakeholders across CFT. This will include leadership of the prioritisation process for development work on the Ledger/Consolidation systems and reconciliation platforms, ensuring upcoming work is pushed through the front door process where required.
Additional Responsibilities :
- Ensure that established MG SDLC practices are followed across the platform - including the use of appropriate tools to support version control and requirement traceability (e.g. DevOps, JIRA, segregation of duties)
- Proactively look for opportunities to make enhancements and improvements to current CFT Ledger and reconciliation systems and processes, reporting and data analytics capabilities to drive increased efficiency and productivity across CFT
- Provide subject matter expertise to programmes run from within the CFT portfolios to enable the delivery of business outcomes that are fit for purpose
- Ensure future developments are accepted into service and relevant teams built or enhanced to ensure applications are supported.
