National Cooperative Consumers' Federation of India Limited (NCCF) is the apex body of consumer cooperatives in India. It was established in 1965 and is registered under the Multi-State Co-operative Societies Act. The NCCF operates 26 branch offices throughout the country and is headquartered in New Delhi. NCCF aims to promote the voluntary formation and democratic functioning of cooperatives, based on self-reliance and mutual aid for overall economic betterment and financial autonomy.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Accountant at the NCCF office located in Pune. The Accountant will be responsible for day-to-day accounting tasks including bookkeeping, reconciling accounts, preparing financial statements, and managing cash transactions. The Accountant will also prepare and present financial reports, analyze financial data, and assist with budgeting and forecasting.
Qualifications
- Extensive knowledge of finance, accounting, and bookkeeping principles.
- Experience in using accounting software such as Tally and QuickBooks.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience in a cooperative or non-profit organization is a plus.
- Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA are a plus.
