Job description
Position: Fashion Design Head at Andheri (E), Mumbai.
Qualifications Required : Degree in fashion designing from a reputed Institute
Experience Required: 5-10 years of experience as a Senior fashion Designer in ethnic wear, preferably men's ethnic wear. Should have experience leading a team of fashion designers.
Other skills required : Should be proficient in software for graphic design and Illustration such as Photoshop, Corel Draw, clo 3d , Vector , Procreate. Should have leadership qualities.
Job Responsibility: Will be responsible for a team of junior fashion designers and will design apparel collections for the seasons/events/clients. Specific responsibilities are:
· Meet with Business Head to select seasonal themes, make edits to lines and create new concepts
· Meet with the Partner of the company take inputs and make sure things are happening as per plan
· Communicating and guiding the team, preparing project deliverables, setting timelines and delegating tasks
· Conducting creative sessions with the team to define design goals and objectives, design elements, user experience and branding
· Prioritising tasks by identifying ones that are critical or have strict deadlines
· Review junior designers' work to ensure high quality
· Stay up-to-date with industry developments and tools
· Ensure products are in agreement with business strategy
· Select fabrics and trims and accessories
· Create production sketches for development package
· Supervise creation of tech packs and documentation
· Supervise the creation of samples by coordinating between designers, clients and masters.
Salary Range: Rs.60,000 to 90,000 per month.
