Sukoon Health is building India's first specialized chain of hospitals to cater to acute and severe mental health conditions. We plan to set up 1000 beds across 40 units for adult, acute inpatient care across India. Additionally, we have aspirations to expand into specialized segments of de-addiction, child development disabilities, dementia care, etc.

About the role Sukoon is seeking a Resident Medical Officer (RMO) who plays a pivotal role in our chain of Psychiatry Centers in India, providing essential medical care and support to patients across our Outpatient Departments (OPD), Inpatient Departments (IPD), and Rehabilitation Centers. This position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with Psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams, contributing to delivering high-quality mental healthcare services.

Areas of Focus ● Provide timely and efficient medical care to patients presenting in emergency situations, demonstrating proficiency in managing psychiatric crises and emergencies. ● Conduct thorough patient examinations and assessments, including physical, mental, and neurological evaluations, to establish accurate diagnoses and treatment plans. ● Collaborate closely with Psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, ensuring continuity and integration of services across different treatment modalities. ● Monitor patients' progress and response to treatment, adjusting care plans as necessary to optimize outcomes and promote recovery. ● Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by attending Psychiatrists, adhering to established protocols and safety guidelines. ● Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, documenting patient encounters, assessments, interventions, and treatment plans in accordance with regulatory standards and organizational policies. ● Participate in multidisciplinary case conferences and team meetings to discuss patient progress, treatment strategies, and discharge planning. ● Provide patient education and counseling on mental health conditions, treatment options, medication management, and lifestyle modifications to support recovery and wellness. ● Collaborate with ancillary healthcare providers and support staff to ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff members. ● Adhere to professional standards of practice, ethical principles, and legal requirements governing medical practice, maintaining confidentiality and respecting patients' rights and dignity.

Qualifications Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS)
