Job brief
You will be in charge of editing the raw footage recorded by your team into a single, cohesive video. The Video Editor must adhere to an outline or script, as well as any additional directions for what should occur in each scene.
Whilst, The individual must have a graduate degree.

Manipulation and editing video clips in ways that are unseen to the audience.
Creating a brief to understand the needs and specifications.
Examining the shooting script and raw material to develop a shot decision list based on the importance of the scenes and their contribution to continuity.
To put together collected videos into a finished project that meets the goal and is relevant. Ultimately, as a Video Editor, you should be able to combine sight and sound to produce a cohesive tale.
Responsibilities
Trim footage fragments and assemble the video's sequence
Enter music, dialog, images, and effects.
Make both rough and final cuts.
Ensure logical sequencing and smooth operation
Consult with the creative team for inputs and ideation throughout the process
To enhance efficiency, always explore and use new editing tools and industry best practices.
You will also be responsible for understanding the scripts and providing an assessment. To make sure the execution of the video is in sync.
Requirements & skills
Work experience as a Video Editor.
Extensive knowledge of digital technology and editing software packages.
A great portfolio of video editing skills.
Complete understanding of timing, motivation, and continuity
Knowledge of special effects, 3D, and compositing
imaginative mind and storytelling abilities
A bachelor's degree in cinematography or a similar discipline is required.
Improving and correcting lighting, coloring and faulty footage
Editors are storytellers, listeners, and problem solvers altogether. You should have a keen sense of quality and attention to detail, which is essential when it comes to video editing.
