Are you an experienced and dynamic marketing professional ready to take on a new challenge We're seeking a talented Marketing Executive to join our award-winning Global Marketing Team. This role is pivotal in driving marketing strategies and campaigns that generate high-quality Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) for our sales community.

We're Civica and we make software that helps deliver critical services for citizens all around the world. From local government to central government, to education, to health and care, over 5,000 public bodies across the globe use our software to help provide critical services to over 100 million citizens.

Role Overview: As a Marketing Executive, you will collaborate with teams across the globe to maximize lead generation through digital channels and inbound marketing. Your focus will be on developing and executing digital marketing strategies in a B2B environment, acquiring and nurturing MQLs, and growing our lead pipeline. This role offers variety and ownership in an exciting and fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Marketing Managers to build and execute marketing campaigns
  • Design and implement engagement and lead nurture campaigns to generate sales leads and pipeline
  • Develop a deep understanding of business objectives, value propositions, target markets, and buyer personas
  • Select and execute an appropriate marketing mix for each campaign, including digital marketing, events, advertising, and promotion
  • Create marketing collateral and work with internal and external stakeholders for campaign execution
  • Manage CRM and marketing automation data for effective customer and prospect communications
  • Oversee online presence via website, social media, and relevant partners
  • Effectively manage a budget following defined protocols
  • Report on campaign effectiveness and Return on Investment (ROI)
  • Collaborate with the global marketing team across various specialisms to deliver campaigns with a strong ROI
  • Liaise with internal and external designers for marketing collateral creation

Reporting Relationships:

  • Head of Marketing (UK) and Head of Marketing (APAC)

Essential Competencies:

  • Confident, experienced professional with strong communication skills
  • Excellent spoken and written English
  • Proven ability to write compelling B2B marketing copy for various channels
  • Self-starter with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively
  • Demonstrable experience in developing and delivering B2B marketing campaigns
  • Excellent prioritization skills, managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Enjoy building relationships with an international network of colleagues, suppliers, customers, and partners
  • Work within the agreed marketing plan to develop campaign ideas and activities
  • Efficiently manage own workload

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working for a B2B software business
  • A minimum of 4 years' experience in B2B marketing
  • Qualified to degree level, or equivalent
