6+ years experience in tracking the production of varied disciplines of outsourcing across multiple game teams with external vendors.
Build trust and rapport w/ game teams, Zynga leadership and 3rd parties for optimal visibility into projects.
Work with the game teams to evaluate reasonable budgets based on data, track spend against forecasts, and work with teams and ExDev producers to determine the accurate budgeting for long term forecasts based on the product roadmap.
Collaborate between game teams, vendors and finance team on monthly Invoice validation and approval.
Use financial enterprise software to receive invoices against the correct POs, chase FP&A Approvals and communicate receipts to ExDev Producers, FP&A and Accounts Payable
Integrate closely with game teams to evaluate their needs, provide expertise to assist game teams w/ vendor selection and helps establish tests for vetting new and existing outsourcing partners.
Review cost and service structures to consult and negotiate on low-cost contracts with an eye on leveraging volume for discounts. Excellent negotiations skills with a good understanding of vendor skillsets and project placement.
Plan, coordinate and gather the essential details to effectively onboard new external development partners. An understanding of local legal and employment law is useful.
Work with game team production leads to evaluate and maintain the outsourcing production schedule and communication with vendors, as well as look for opportunities to optimize processes and cost savings.
Ensure clear and consistent communication between game teams, external service providers and ExDev producers.
Work with game producers to understand if the vendors are delivering content as per quality benchmarks and work with the vendor to resolve the concerns a team may have. The ability to converse with vendors on multiple levels with a good understanding of individual disciplines.
Motivate and drive outsourcing partners, ensuring that schedules are adhered to, and the established deliverables are met.
Create and maintain systems for project planning, status and action items that are shared internally w/ the ExDev Team.
