Responsibilities And Tasks

Provide Stewardship of Corporate HR Program and Polices and Philosophy

  • Align services to HR Strategic Objectives and Micron Business Objectives
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners
  • Manage global vendors and ensure on-going alignment on vendor management expectations
  • Share vision and direction of service with teams, communities, customers, and leadership; gather their input; and provide feedback
  • Maintain and build relationships with key internal customers
  • Lead efforts for the global alignment of service operations for Mergers and Acquisitions/Integrations that involve multiple regions

Drive Continuous Improvement by Leveraging Global Resources and Best in Class Practices

  • Review performance of the service through established metrics and KPIs and identify improvement opportunities
  • Ensure alignment of goals
  • Maintain knowledge of current industry best practices
  • As subject matter experts, understand how the service compares to the industry and competitors and determine the level of service required to meet Micron's business needs

Develop and Maintain the Service and Program Delivery Model to Meet Micron's Business Needs

  • Establish and maintain service metrics to demonstrate/evaluate the effectiveness of the service globally
  • Provide leadership regarding the design, development, and implementation of programs and services in partnership with the CoE
  • Maintain insight to market trend, challenges and best practices to drive continuous improvement of service delivery
  • Oversee service and program costs
  • Develop and drive completion of service plans and improvement efforts

Lead HR Global Communities

  • Drive consistency and alignment of Corporate HR program and policies
  • Provide leadership, direction, and priorities regarding the delivery of service and programs to your direct reports
  • Partner with and leverage your matrixed community network
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and development opportunities for the global network
  • Create global role clarity (such as, what makes sense to align and what can be different regionally)
  • Ensure global resources within the community are leveraged and developed (talent management)

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree above, Human Resource Management or related field of studies.
  • 8+ years of working experience in Human Resources; with HR Services Center related experience is highly preferred.
  • Experience in lead/mentor junior staff and the strong desire to build and lead a team.
  • Excellent communication skills; ability to influence and build trusting relationships.
  • Capabilities in navigate and perform in a dynamic and fast-paced workplace.
  • Result driven and committed to set goals, resourceful and innovative in solutions.
  • Abilities to analyze data with internal report tools, draw insights and develop strategies based on the data insights.
