Job description
Responsibilities:- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and secure cloud solutions.- Design and architect data lakes using AWS Lake Formation, ensuring efficient data ingestion, storage, and processing.- Implement data governance and security policies within the data lake environment, leveraging AWS Lake Formation capabilities.- Develop data pipelines for ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes using AWS services such as Glue, S3, Redshift and snowflake.- Optimize Lake house performance and scalability, utilizing best practices and industry standards.- Design and implement data warehouse solutions using Iceberg for efficient and reliable data storage and querying.- Provide technical guidance and support to development teams during the implementation phase.- Conduct performance tuning and troubleshooting of data lake and data warehouse environments.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers and business analysts to deliver high-quality solutions on time. Requirements:- Proven experience as a Solution Architect with a focus on AWS cloud services.- In-depth knowledge of AWS Lake Formation and Iceberg, including hands-on experience in designing and implementing solutions using these services.- Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and architecture principles.- Experience with data lakes, data warehouses, and big data technologies.- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Spark and SQL.- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
