Title: Technical Writer
Job Description for the Technical Writer - Full time
Responsible for writing user documentation for the growing line of the Infinera's products. Will work with the Technical Publications team, engineering, and Product Line Marketing teams.
Description
* Responsible for writing user documentation for Telecom products
* Minimum of 1-2 years of experience writing technical documentation and up to 4/5 years of experience
* Must have excellent communication skills both written and oral
* Should be capable of working well in a team environment and individually.
* Must be able to interface with multiple engineering teams to get needed information and validation of information.
* Must be proficient with DITA and standard authoring tools such as Arbor Text, Framemaker and Robohelp.
* Telecommunications and network management knowledge is a big plus.
