Job Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain robust WordPress websites with a keen eye for design and functionality.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to implement innovative solutions.
- Ensure seamless integration of thirdparty plugins and tools.
- Troubleshoot and resolve website issues ensuring optimal performance.
- Stay abreast of industry trends technologies and best practices.
Skills
- Experience using ACF/ACF Pro (Advanced custom fields) plugin
- Experience using visual page builders and creating custom templates for these plugins
- Experience using the Vue JS framework
- Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON XML)
- Experience integrating 3rd party apps with Wordpress
- Experience using the WooCommerce plugin
- Experience developing responsive design websites
- Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools i.e. GitHub
- Strong understanding of PHP backend development
- Comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug Chrome inspector etc.
- Experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications
- Strong design sense knows what good spacing typography and layout look like able to replicate with CSS/SCSS
- Good communication (written and spoken)
