Job description
Minimum of 6 years of PeopleSoft technical infrastructure experience PeopleSoft 9.0 or later experience Experience in latest PeopleTools release 8.5x and 9.2 applications is preferred. PeopleSoft Technical Certification, Oracle Database certification is a plus Complete understanding of PeopleSoft Internet Architecture (PIA) – specifically in a Linux-based system, Oracle database and Web Logic hosting environment Experience in PeopleTools Upgrade & PUM Updates is preferred Hand-on experience on Unix Shell and Windows Batch script is preferred Must have experience in multiple applications – HRMS, FS, CRM, SA, etc. Build, configure, debug and support PeopleSoft applications in a multi-instance hosting environment. Provide expert troubleshooting for isolating technical problems in the PeopleSoft Internet Architecture (PIA) including Oracle databases, tuxedo application servers on Unix, process schedulers on both Unix and NT and WebLogic configuration. Analyze issues with Process Schedulers, Application Servers, Application Messaging and Web Servers Have experience in object/file migrations, application patching using Change Assistant & PUM Change packages etc. Debug and optimize SQL statements within Query, COBOL and Application Engine Have in-depth knowledge of PeopleSoft Internet Architecture security components Hands-on experience in PeopleSoft Environment Builds and patching using DPK. Experienced in Project migrations and running Compare Reports via Application Designer Experienced in performing PeopleSoft refreshes and applying Tuxedo/Weblogic/Java CPU patches Work with Infrastructure team members (Network, NT and Unix Administrators) to build and deliver services in a stable and secure multi-instance hosting environment Assist with capacity planning, disaster recovery and load balancing activities Work with multiple clients concurrently Work on all phases of a project – development, testing, production support, etc. Rapidly resolve issues to adhere to Service Level Agreements Installation & troubleshooting issues of ES search Setup & Troubleshooting issues related to Integration Broker Willing to work in multiple shift timings on rotation basis including night shift
