We are looking for an SDET/ Senior SDET with extensive experience with Appiu for one of our clients in the Women's social network space, which connects millions of women across different stages of life, from getting married to becoming a mother, and beyond.
Responsibilities
● Work on real-time problems in a time-framed scenario within an Agile Framework.
● Checking if the product complies with the requirements as presented in Business documentation (PRD) and Technical documentation (Confluence).
● Conduct manual testing for APIs and Applications as necessary.
● Able to set up an Automation Testing framework from scratch with focus on coverage & priority.
● Develop test suites to conduct functional testing across various applications and analyze test results. Push team members to adopt testing standards and provide continuous feedback.
● Integrate automation testing in CI/CD pipeline.
● Assessing risks and document defects (JIRA).
● Write test cases (test scripts) and standardise test cases.
● Discuss and plan fixes with developers.
● Track the life cycle of errors and retest fixed defects.
● Maintain the test documentation and standards across different applications.
● Onboard new team members and provide KT sessions.
Qualifications
● 3+ years of experience in QA Team management and Onboarding/Training new team members.
● Hands-on experience in API Testing, and familiarity with Curl, Postman, and Swagger tools is preferred.
● Hands-on experience in UI Automation testing like Selenium or Appium for website or application testing . Full knowledge of framework setup is a must.
● Understanding of RESTful API structure and development of integration automation flows for feature testing.
● Good knowledge of SQL query writing for database verifications.
● Manual mobile testing experience on Android/iOS devices.
● Manual website testing experience and basic knowledge of browser compatibility. ●
