Position Summary The Infrastructure team is foundational to the development and delivery of hosting services in cloud and non-cloud environments which meet the exact needs of our customers. We understand the needs of our users to develop the products used to assist in the delivery of compelling business insights. This includes the individual products and needed operational and maintenance procedures to allow operations teams to delivery an outstanding experience. We perform a business critical service enabling many different components of the business to deliver an amazing experience in a cost recovery model. Our services are provided in a secure and highly available environment, developing solutions which enable operations teams to be successful from provision to delivery, while maintaining the highest level of security and client discretion.
We are seeking additional outstanding contributors who can increase out capacity to envision, design, and deliver amazing solutions in a dynamic and high performing organization.
Infrastructure Engineering and Operations will partner with other Business Units to transition new services into production. Operations will provide the checklist of required parameters and the D&I team will confirm they have been completed. Once vetted, Operations will authorize release and begin support. It is the responsibility of the Operations group to assure the uptime, availability, maintenance, and restoration of all infrastructure services
Operations personnel will all also apply the concept of Continuous Improvement to efficientize, evolve, and optimize all aspects of operations. Process excellence is on the critical path to operational excellence, so the entire team will become process adherents and experts.
The Infrastructure IT Lead Engineer I will be the third level response regarding any infrastructure service incidents and problems related to our global infrastructure services like - data center, office server platform, cloud platforms, etc. Though acting as a third level contact, the position will have in depth knowledge of end to end process and problem resolution.
The position will work on a global team with global vendors and service providers to support the team worldwide as part of a follow-sun operations group.
The position will be responsible for identifying any infrastructure service related issues, analyzing the root cause/area, prioritizing according to business impact and criticality of service, planning and implementing a solution in cooperation with our external partners and team.
In addition, they will perform pre-defined and pre-scheduled changes related to the various global, regional or local infrastructure services (i.e. patching, updates, system checks, routine maintenance, etc)

- Respond and resolve operations issues per OLA and SLA
- Continually define new ways to improve existing service offerings, tooling, and process
- Create knowledge documentation and work with Service Center and colleagues in continuous knowledge transfer
- Initiate, inherit, and close team tickets in Service Now
- Stay abreast of industry trends and technologies
- Achieve training necessary to stay current and certified in functional discipline
- Drive the organization to become a best-practice continuous improvement team, with a common language based around ITIL and industry standards
- Establishing Runbooks, SOPs, and MOPs, that document and enhance IT functions
- Drive a spirit of pride and sense of ownership across IT functions globally
Basic Job Requirements - Education/Experience:
- B.A./B.S. degree in computer related field or professional certification in Microsoft and VMware operating systems.
- 5 or more years experience with computer and infrastructure-related support
- Fluent English
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Knowledge:
- Fluency in hosting large-scale web services in cloud providers Amazon Web Services and/or Microsoft Azure IaaS and PaaS environments
- Fluency in Linux, Microsoft Operating systems a plus
- Fluency in DevOps principles (CI/CD/Repo/CM Tools)
- Knowledge of PowerShell or Python
- Knowledge of advanced infrastructure capabilities: Kubernetes, Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, Azure Resource Templates
- Knowledge of core networking and TCP/IP Services
- ITIL certification and awareness of IT security best practices
- MS Operating systems including Windows 2016, 2019, 2022
- Linux Ubuntu, CentOS, Amazon Linux
- MS Hyper-V
- VMware ESX virtualization
