Manager / DGM - Planning

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Production planning for all SKUs of assigned categories
  • Preparing of production plans based on AOP plans & replenishment strategy considering last 30 days sales trend, future forecast, seasonality, promotional offers, capacity considerations and sales priority if any
  • Strategic Capacity Planning for all SKUs against available capacity of the factory and building stocks wherever required
  • Responsible for Automated Planning Adherence and driving improvement projects
  • Coordinating with SAP & Master Data Management teams to ensure proper master data maintenance
  • Optimize Finished good Inventory levels pertaining to seasonality & demand peaks while ensuring high levels of stock availability
  • Monitor Inventory Norm Penetration report and enforce item master mapping for design types
  • Monitoring, analysing & ensuring adherence to schedule and incorporating same in production planning
  • New Launch and offer planning for all SKUs in the category
  • Total delivered cost based production planning across multiple factories
  • Drive S&OP process and initiate issue based discussion, review last month performance, next 3 month outlook for inventory levels and all India coverage
  • Responsible for supply plan alignment between various stakeholders to improve overall supply chain efficiency

Educational Qualification

Operations MBA from a Tier 1 B-School

Experience

2-3 years of cross functional experience in supply chain

1 stint in manufacturing/operations will be preferred

Skills

  • Exposure to Planning, Manufacturing, Procurement, Logistics & Sales in FMCG
  • Functional Knowledge of APO, SAP ECC, BW or any IBP Tool
  • Good negotiation skills, business orientation and ability to influence stakeholders
  • Analytical skills required for cost effective planning, inventory management and ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Ability to prepare MIS
  • Extensive knowledge of excel
  • Willing to travel to Manufacturing locations
