The role of Specialist - Client Engagement-KYC, GCC is pivotal in ANZ's efforts to safeguard against financial crime. Responsible for facilitating KYC directly with customers on behalf of Institutional Relationship teams and Product partners, the incumbent ensures KYC delivery while maintaining a customer-centric approach to minimize effort and enhance the client experience. Specialists are also responsible for providing KYC support and advise Institutional Bankers & customers for all entity types. Answer queries in inbox, educate bankers to FAQ material and attend client meetings
This involves ensuring compliance with ANZ regulatory obligations and AML/CTF policies, providing specialist KYC support and guidance to Institutional Bankers and customers, and offering subject matter expertise on KYC requirements and policy exceptions.
Moreover, the role acts as a conduit between customers and ANZ, streamlining the KYC process with a focus on customer satisfaction. The Specialist must possess deep technical expertise in Corporate KYC, and provide guidance to the customer on KYC requirements in a clear, concise and customer friendly manner.
What will you bring To grow and be successful in the role, you will ideally bring the following:
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to negotiate, persuade, influence
- Experience in engaging with individuals at various levels, both within and outside the organization
- Sound business judgment and problem solving skills
- Prior experience working in corporate KYC - client engagement process is mandatory
- In depth understanding of KYC (AML/CTF legislation) and its application within the banking/financial services industry, in particular key industry challenges, trends, and regulatory issues
- Understanding and application of the key banking systems such as SEIBEL, GOLDTIER, CACHE, ORION, MIDANZ
- Strong computer literacy - experience in working with fraud and or KYC/AML/CTF technology platform.
- Willingness to work in early morning shifts
