Role Summary
Key Accountabilities/ Responsibilities Role and Responsibilities
- Managing underwriting for group health
- Responsible for review of Health and Personal accident RFQs received from partner brokers/agents/corporates.
- Correct pricing of risk in accordance to Underwriting guidelines and principles.
- Adherence to all regulatory guidelines and regulations.
- Responsible for designing and pricing various affinity programs of group health as per the requirement and profile of for various channel partners.
- Responsible to generate group health insurance business by analyzing and underwriting and negotiating various group health proposal while keeping the LR in check.
- Responsible to track various proposals received by the team along with their status and analyze the data and suggest changes in strategy to acquire greater market share as per the given condition.
- Create and publish various trackers and MIS to higher management on monthly basis
- Work on group Health underwriting Quotes.
- Managing the day-to-day activity related to group health underwriting
- Analyzing the overall group health portfolio and proactively take corrective actions if required.
- Assess risk-based groups' health conditions Prepare quotations for group policies, based on clients' requirements. Develop, and maintain weekly, and monthly reports Coordinate with direct clients, and company agents
- Pre quote scrutiny of group Health quotes.
- Provide Policy Issuance support to Ops and sales team for Group Health / UW Quotes.
- Regular monitoring and claims analysis of Group Health business for the company.
- Resolving queries of Sales and Marketing team for Group Health Businesses
- The incumbent shall be responsible for timely providing underwriting support to various Sales/ Relationship Manager across channels and location.
- Continuous improvement of sin-house group Health underwriting calculator /rater basis feedback from claims / sales and Actuarial team.
- Drive initiatives related to Underwriting Management in line with Organization's functional strategy
- Evaluate emerging trends, competition practices, formulate options and propose recommendations on guideline to senior management Stakeholder interfaces Experience Requirement
- Should be a Team player
- Have good understanding of MS Excel including VBA and other underwriting tools.
- Should have good knowledge on other MS Office Applications.
