Job description
Analytical skills to analyze network fault for corrective actions.
- Inventory tracking.
- Technical support in operations for faults.
- Solution to be provided for network identified bugs / development required in oprations.
- coordination with planning in hubs/circle, operations and NOC to push for plan closer.
- coordination with class A vender for solution on bugs.
- Identify, plan and track network improvement strategic projects.
- Maintain network uptime Brondband 99.99%
- Cygnet Plan including Upgrade / Augmentation of existing rings/ network.
- Monitoring and adhering to KPI's NW uptime Voice and DSL, Fiber NW maintenance and adherence to SLA's associated with Fiber NW. Ensure Network KPIs & Availability as per SLA with the benchmark quality on 24x7 bases.
- Experience in Access network as well as core networks.
- Ensuring maintenance of Switch, DSL and Fiber and Transmission network, including Performance monitoring, day-to-day network operations, preventive & corrective maintenance.
- Ensure 24/ 7 centralized Support in maintaining NW uptime.
- Plan/schedule and provide vendor support for network, system software/hardware and capacity upgrade, node insertion/deletion in coordination with field staff and customer's NOC.
- Responsible for transmission bandwidth expansions, Timely NCR execution as Planned events.
- Schedule for Quality Audits, Preventive Maintenance Activities and ensure successful
completion of the same.
- Rerouting the traffic during network catastrophes (Hardware issues & dual fiber cuts etc…) and
Bandwidth management.
- Visit and audit the site conditions, installation/operations quality, and power condition & fiber
loss.
- Cross functional coordination with Mobility, Customer facing team.
