Job Role : Senior Quality Engineer (SDET)Experience : 7 to 9.5 YearsJob Location : Bangalore/Gurgaon/Hyderabad/Pune (Hybrid Working)Notice Period : 0 to 30 days (Should be able to join on or before 15th April 2024)About the Role :We're seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Quality Engineer (SDET) to join our growing team in Bangalore, Gurgaon, Hyderabad, or Pune. You'll play a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our distributed, highly scalable systems.Responsibilities :- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using best practices like Page Object Model.- Integrate test suites into the test management system and custom test harness.- Write clean and maintainable code in Java, Groovy, or JavaScript.- Perform API testing using tools like RestAssured, SOAP UI, or NodeJS.- Parse complex JSON & XML data and perform validation.- Conduct test automation for desktop and/or mobile applications.- Write effective SQL queries.- Contribute to the development of a positive, collaborative team environment.- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and tools in the SDET landscape.Qualifications :- 7-9.5 years of experience in Software Development Engineering in Test (SDET).- Strong understanding of OOPS concepts and programming skills.- Experience with distributed, highly scalable systems.- Expertise in test automation methodologies (BDD, TDD) and frameworks (e.g., Cucumber, TestNG, JUnit).- Familiarity with API testing tools and principles (SOAP, REST, microservices).- Experience with cloud-based test environments (e.g., Sauce Labs, BrowserStack).- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.- Ability to work independently and prioritize under pressure.Bonus points for :- Domain knowledge in retail banking, automobile, insurance, etc.- Experience with mobile applications or non-functional testing automation.- Knowledge of service virtualization tools (e.g., CA Lisa) and PACT.- Experience with test management tools (e.g., Xray, Zephyr).- Experience in Agile methodologies (BDD, DevOps).Join our team and make a difference!Note : This job description is a general overview and may not be exhaustive.
