A.Develop and Impart Technical training to all flexible & permanent workforce(non-managerial) , trainees
as per plant level need. Assessment, Monitor and continuously improve training
deliverables.
B. Achieving the 100% delivery targets wrt Plan with Quality, developing the safety culture and achieving the departmental target / MISDimensions of the position

Key Responsibility & Key Tasks

1 Ensure overall execution to achieve short term and long term defined business goals and objectives
2 Working with operations to identify 'skill gaps'/Training Need Identification , using laid down processes,
3 Design Training modules and devising methodology to deliver the modules. Measurement of skill level assimilation & performance during training and on the job. Carrying out the process of certifying the skill levels
4 Support HR & L&D in building capability of white collar employees
5 To plan and execute sourcing, Recruitment of Flexible manpower & Trainees as per business need.
6 Execution of safety induction and FST and ensuring that the manpower supplied to shop floor meets the function requirements in terms of skills & knowledge
7 Leading innovation in developing newer systems / techniques / methodologies and training aids , to accentuate interest and keenness to learn and acquire the skill sets
8 Execution of assigned FTA trades program under the Apprenticeship Act , developing and achieving 'craftsman' proficiency level , building discipline , work attitude , ethics and required temperament thereby achieving and sustaining high standard
9 TWI (Training within Industries) - Adopting and executing the concept at work stations for building / enhancing skills for all blue collar workforce in the assigned auto part / assembly vertical , thereby achieving elimination of job defects , bringing workplace improvement and achieving consistent high quality score
10 Take initiative to acquire newer knowledge and associated skill sets , pro-actively getting in touch with ERC proto , getting self-trained on newer technology , identifying the work stations , which are likely to get effected , determining the skill change and retraining manpower
11 Maintenance of assigned vertical infrastructure. Developing training kits / aids for demonstration of new technology, developing pedagogy
12 Lead / Support company audit functions / systems such as WCS , TQM , OSHAS ,ISO,5S, Kaizen etc , introduced from time to time
13 Governance of BVOC scheme and any other applicable. Monitoring performance and taking corrective measures to ensure that it complies with University guidelines and on the job learnings are aligned with University approved semester syllabus
14 Carry out all administrative work related to Flexi Blue collar employees, FTA and trainees assigned to respective auto part / assembly vertical .
15 Plan and carry out training and responsibilities as per TNCB guidelines
