Job Overview
YSM India is looking for T ool Design Engineer - Stamping & Bending to join our team. As a tool design engineer , you will be responsible for designing Stamping (Press) & Bending tools your role will be to take the designs from concept to production ready toolings.
This role is a full-time position based in Pune, Maharashtra, India.
Qualifications And Skills
- Certificate/Degree/ Diploma in Tool & Die or a related technical field is required.
- Experience: 0-3 year of experience
- Application and representation of GD&T as per required standard (ASME Y14.5-2009 / ISO 1101)
- Strong hands-on experience on SOLIDWORKS, VISI CAD, AutoCAD 3D software tools
- Ability review concept drawings, Strip layouts and create tooling drawings from the same.
- Sheet Metal - proficiency in design for manufacturing
- Hands on Tolerance Analysis & Basic design calculations
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Roles And Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain detailed tooling design drawings using CAD softwares.
- Modify and control detailed two & three dimensional assembly drawings.
- Troubleshoot and help engineering team resolve issues related to dimension achievement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure tools are commissioned for manufacturing.
- Prepare technical documentation 2D, 3D CAD data, BOM for manufacturers etc.
