Job Overview The Dialysis Technician is responsible for providing quality care to patients undergoing dialysis treatment. They will be working in Chennai Urology And Robotics Institute, a super speciality hospital that focuses on urology, nephrology, and uro-oncology. The technician will join a team dedicated to providing excellent patient care and will have the opportunity to utilize their skills in hemodialysis, communication, and computer proficiency.
Qualifications And Skills - Junior-level experience of 1 to 3 years in performing hemodialysis procedures.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Fluency in Hindi for effective communication with patients.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in typing.
- Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Ability to work well as part of a team and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in a similar healthcare setting is preferred.
- Certification in dialysis technology or equivalent is a plus.
Roles And Responsibilities - Performing hemodialysis procedures on patients.
- Monitoring patients during dialysis treatment and promptly reporting any changes in condition.
- Properly operating and maintaining dialysis machines and equipment.
- Preparing dialysis equipment, including sterilization and disinfection procedures.
- Assisting patients in preparing for dialysis treatment and providing education on self-care.
- Taking and recording patients' vital signs, weight, and other relevant information.
- Ensuring the safety and comfort of patients throughout the dialysis procedure.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Following infection control protocols and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
