Job Summary: If you are a Supply Chain professional and looking for career opportunity, Emerson has an exciting offer to you! The Senior / Purchasing Executive will handle the Purchase Orders to Stock execution, track & manage activities for Raw and Intra-companies' material purchases to support Singapore factories' operation.
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: - Works closely with lntraco & external suppliers to drive Supply Chain materials availability through improved lead-times and timely delivery to support customer service objectives.
- Coordinates & completes Purchasing Orders (PO) timely, contracts, agreements, and terms / conditions for Sites' purchases.
- Coordinates & monitors PO to Stock activities to ensure material availability at the right time.
- Maintains purchasing parameter integrity in Site's business systems (Oracle).
- Supports Commodity Managers in implementing commodity plans.
- Strong ability to engage internal & external partners collaboratively to derive solutions for any projects/ assignment tasked.
- Supports purchasing metrics in terms of inventory, supplier service levels, shortages management etc.
- Conducts monthly reviews/ engagement with Key Suppliers as well as internal partners for opportunities for improvements.
- Partakes in internal factory key initiatives to drive continuous improvement.

For This Role, You Will Need: - Minimum 2 years of proven experience in the manufacturing environment.
- Solid understanding on MRP (Oracle) and MS Office software like MS Excel, MS Word and PowerPoint.
- Has negotiation skills and ability to work with internal partners & external suppliers.
- Ability to lead change and alignment on new concepts and approaches through persistence, self-motivation, follow-through, and commitment.
- Great teammate who builds and maintains positive team member relations.
- Able to manage and schedule multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Possess strong analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart: - Degree / Diploma or equivalent in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or any related field.
- Knowledge on Lean Techniques, ISO 9002 Quality System and Inventory Management will be an added advantage.
- Able to travel between factories in Singapore, if needed.
