Job description
JOB PURPOSE
Lead the Design Function for all the ALD Development Projects across all the Locations (Hyderabad , Goa , Bhogapuram) in alignment with overall ALD Strategy/ Vision.
Understand the Business goals and align the function to deliver desired Design Solutions in line with Global Benchmarks and International Best practices.
Guide and Nurture Regional Teams to implement overall Master plan guidelines, guide teams in consultant selection, preparing project briefs and develop designs that meet client, organizational and budgetary requirements. Lead Sustainable design initiatives with respective teams to ensure overall organizational goals on sustainability and ESG.
ORGANISATION CHART This position reports to CBO
Key Accountabilities - Design development of all kinds of large complex projects from conceptual stage to completion of project by coordinating with user departments, consultants and other stake holders of the Project.
- Evaluate and Shortlist Architects & Designers to generate Design solutions in line with ALD's overall vision
- Responsible for managing and coordinating the complete design concept with the architectural and interior designs including review of materials and finishes, review of services, plans and space planning requirements, design presentations, systems and construction coordination as well as that of site installation.
- Ability to optimize design and present alternate creative, innovative & cost effective design solutions as per Design brief
EXTERNAL INTERACTIONS GoI Authorities such as AAI, BCAS, Fire Services, Municipal Board , PCB's etc approvals and regulation controls
INTERNAL INTERACTIONS Internal stakeholders like GMR airports, Security, Operations, IT,for their requirements and inputs related to planning & Architecture and get appropriate design for the same.
FINANCIAL DIMENSIONS The incumbent shall be responsible for design management and ensuring development controls over all ALD assets across HYD , Goa and Bhogapuram. The project size of such developments shall be in the range of Rs 500-700 crores over the next 3 years.

Education Qualifications B Arch / M Arch
Relevant Experience - Approx. 20+ Years of experience working for large real estate firm / construction firm / consultancy firm or with a real estate developer, and having experience of large commercial office projects.
- Experience in architecture, interior design and project management, across the real estate verticals of residential, commercial, retail, hospitality, education as well as entire large masterplans / townships will be desired
