Job Description:
Design & development of hardware project for Controller CoE. Coordinate with various functions including quality assurance, testing, production and research & development for new and existing product lines. Liaising with customer and different teams for the specification, and project timeline. Work for assigned project, creating timeline, organizing collaborative meetings and ensuring project comply with specifications. Conduct Peer review of work products for technical accuracy. Implement and maintain the procedures & standards. Maintain knowledge of new trends, developments, technologies, materials & best practices and apply it to improve the products and production efficiency. Being part of Global Engineering Function, it is expected to involve in organizational initiatives, follow the defined processes and adhere to defined communication plan.
Job Specifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent
- 3-4 years of experience of hardware product design & development in embedded domain is required
- Experience of driving technically on all stages of hardware product development lifecycle
- Architecture definition & detailed design, strong knowledge of digital hardware design & manufacturing
- Experience of digital hardware design, driver software & hardware testing required
- Development of high-speed board design in embedded domain
- Experience on processors like TI (Sitara/ARM), Freescale, NXP, Qualcomm & Memories: DDR2, DDR3, LPDDR2/3
- NAND gate / Embedded Multimedia Card (eMMC)
- High Speed Board designing, Multi-layer Board design, Signal integrity ( Hyper Lynx ), Board Bring up, PCB layout.
- Strong knowledge of DSP/ Micro Controller & various interfaces like HDMI, MIPI, CSI, Audio, Ethernet, USB, I2C, SPI
- Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) / Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) compliance
- Various tools like ORCAD, ALLEGRO, PADS and Mentor Graphics
- Lab instruments like Multi- meters, Oscilloscope, Function Generator, Logic analyser etc.
- Experience on handling multiple projects independently and guide team members as needed
- Exposure to embedded software development is added advantage
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Self-motivated, capable of working with minimal supervision.
- Excellent Interpersonal skills & ability to communicate effectively in both written and spoken English.
