In this role, you will…
- Developer and Engineer for Middleware Integration and Messaging Platform.
- Design, Develop and support System Integration Solutions using different On-Prem and Cloud Providers.
- Interact with functional and technical representatives as well as development leads to support platform and development changes.
- Prepare test plans and conduct Unit, Integration, Regression, Performance and Functional Testing.
- Resolve bugs and issues uncovered by testers and internal clients.
- Manage changes according to change management policies and processes and adhere to established change management and change control systems.
- Identify opportunities for continuous quality improvement of technical standards, methodologies, and technologies.
- Pair Program with other members of the team on Messaging and System Integration.
- Provide support and contribute to CICD methodology and help with standardizing and automating workflows and tasks.
- Work with Tech Leads, PMO, Quality Assurance and other group on a frequent basis, to provide solutions and deliver deliverables.
In this role, you'll need …
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent years of experience
Required Experience:
- 4+ years of Software Engineering experience.
- 3+ years of experience with System engineering.
- 3+ years of experience with Java programming or Middleware Tools (MuleSoft / Tibco/WebSphere etc.)
- Experience in design and implementation of messaging and SOA, REST, Java based applications.
- Experience with Core Java, and Messaging (Kafka, JMS, Active MQ etc.)
- 2+ Experience with Cloud Computing especially with AWS.
- Experience with Monitoring and Alerting tools like Splunk, Grafana, Elastic Search.
- Hand on experience in DevOps engineering with focus on automation
- Experience with CICD pipeline, Configuration management and version control.
- Proven strong skills in critical thinking and analysis, verbal and written communications, and interpersonal interactions.
- Understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle). Strong debugging and troubleshooting skill.
- Understanding on JSON, YAML, XML, Avro Schema etc.
Required Technical Skills
- Experience with Messaging (Kafka , JMS, Active MQ etc.)
- Experience in Java programming or Middleware tools (Tibco, MuleSoft, WebSphere etc.)
- Experience with implementing Kafka Producer and Consumer applications and Event Driven Architecture
- AWS certification is a plus.
- Knowledgeable in Linux OS, Familiarity with Docker
- Understanding of System engineering concepts like Load balancing, Capacity planning, firewalls, Nginx, SSL etc.
