Job description
As Senior HR Leader for our new site in Hyderabad, India, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our expansion efforts from a people/HR perspective. Reporting directly to the Vice President of People Business Partners, you will be accountable for all regulatory considerations pertaining to the HR function and will ensure compliance with local laws and regulations. You will lead a team responsible for growing and supporting our Hyderabad presence. In this role, you must have the ability to operate autonomously and be accountable for the full scope of both local People team priorities and global/corporate alignment. This includes leading the recruitment team s efforts to attract top talent, manage the hiring process, and onboard new employees effectively. You will also implement talent management, development, and retention strategies to ensure the long-term engagement and development of our team members.
Your Role:
- Collaborate with local Senior Leadership and the global People Leadership Team to understand and align with the organizations goals and strategy related to staffing, recruiting, engagement, and retention
- Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with MosMeds goals to support the growth and success of our Hyderabad site.
- Administers or oversees the administration of human resource programs including, but not limited to, compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
- Oversee day-to-day HR operations, including payroll, benefits administration, HRIS management, and employee records maintenance.
- Identifies staffing and recruiting needs; develops and executes best practices for hiring and talent management
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law; applies this knowledge to communicate changes in policy, practice, and resources to key stakeholders and leadership team
- Monitors and ensures the organizations compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommends best practices; reviews and modifies policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staff in the department.
- Oversees the daily workflow of the department
- Accountable for the local HR department s overall budget
Skills & Requirements:
- University degree in Business, Human Resources, or equivalent, Masters degree preferred.
- Human Resource certification preferred
- 15+ years of progressive Human Resource experience with 7+ years of proven experience leading a full cycle HR function, including Talent Acquisition, Onboarding, and HR Generalists in a high-growth environment.
- Demonstrated ability to lay out strategic plans and drive tactical execution and business outcomes
- Experience working with a US-based company
- The ideal candidate will have experience leading HR in a start-up environment
- Extensive knowledge of local labor laws and regulations in India, with experience managing HR functions in Hyderabad or similar regions.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and motivate teams to achieve results.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Proactive problem solver with a customer-centric approach to HR management.
- Well-developed interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity.
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity and discretion.
