The role of the Operational Excellence Analyst is to execute and champion continuous process improvement efforts within our service delivery operations.
Essential Functions And Tasks
Collaborate with operational teams to understand end to end business processes and create and maintain documented workflows and process maps.
Apply Six Sigma methodologies, tools, and techniques to enhance process efficiency and quality.
Assess operational processes and identify opportunities for process improvement that yield increased productivity, improved quality, reduced handoffs, decreased operating expense, etc.
Conduct detailed time and motion studies that provide business insights into business processes, operational pain points, inefficiencies, and training opportunities.
Collect and analyze data to identify process variations, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.
Conduct periodic audits to assess the effectiveness of implemented improvements.
Challenge status quo to constantly improve ways of workings across the organization.
Act as operational excellence SPOC in cross-functional project teams.
Education And Experience Requirements
Bachelor's degree
3-5 years of healthcare Revenue Cycle Management experience and continuous process improvement.
Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
Trained in LEAN black belt principles.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
Proven experience in leading and managing successful process improvement projects.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in statistical analysis and Six Sigma tools (e.g., DMAIC, FMEA, SPC).
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Strong knowledge of Excel and Power BI.
Ability to motivate and influence change using change management techniques and practices.
Excellent project and time management skills.
Ability to remain flexible and work within a collaborative and fast paced environment.
