We, a leading Talent Acquisition Consultancy in the Oil & Energy industry, is looking for a Chemicals Manufacturing Specialist to join their team. As a Chemicals Manufacturing Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing manufacturing processes within the chemical manufacturing plant. You will ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality control, and cost targets while striving for operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement manufacturing processes in the chemical manufacturing plant.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality control, and cost targets.
- Analyze production data and recommend changes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Lead or coordinate continuous improvement projects.
- Collaborate with engineers and production personnel to resolve manufacturing problems and improve plant performance.
- Train and mentor junior staff in the area of manufacturing processes.
- Manage technology transfer initiatives to ensure successful scale-up from lab to commercial production.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing manufacturing processes in the chemical manufacturing plant.
- Extensive knowledge of safety regulations, quality control processes, and cost targets.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and mentoring skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and work under minimal supervision.
