Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Desk Editor located in Mumbai, with some work from home acceptable. The Desk Editor will be responsible for the day-to-day tasks associated with editing content for Medianews4u.com, including news writing, writing features on broadcasting, Media, Advertising and Research. The Desk Editor will work closely with reporters and the Correspondents to ensure all content is accurate, well-written, and engaging.
Qualifications
- News Writing, Writing, and Journalism skills
- Broadcasting and Research skills
- Proficiency in English with excellent grammar and writing skills
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to coordinate and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
- Degree in Journalism, Communication, or relevant field
- Experience in editing, preferably in news, media, or related fields is a plus
