Your key responsibilities

• Test, develop, and document for DWS models (in-house and vendor).
• Ensure documentation complies with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
• Update and maintain model documentation to reflect changes and improvements over time.
• Support management, coordination and documentation of model developments, new releases, model updates in collaboration with the model vendor and other DWS key stakeholders such as Investment Divisions.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather relevant information for documentation purposes.

Your skills and experience

Education and Experience

• University degree in relevant fields.
• Minimum 2 years of proven experience in financial industry (Model Documentation, Model Development, Operational and Enterprise Risk, Model Validation, Risk Management, or Risk Reporting)
• Proven experience in documenting complex technical models.
• Proven experience in process design & implementation is considered a plus
• Proven experience with risk systems and models from external vendors is considered a plus
• Knowledge about different regulatory frameworks regarding Model Risk for Asset Managers is seen as a plus

Competencies

• Strong knowledge of financial instruments including related analytics
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills
• Programming skills (e.g. Excel and VBA) as well as database usage (SQL)
• Interest in working in an international environment with excellent command of English language (written and spoken skills), German is considered a plus
• Proactive mind-set to propose process improvements and new solutions, including ability to lead negotiations with different internal and external stakeholders
