Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Technical Lead for our new Test Lab to play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products through meticulous testing, analysis, and lab setup.
As the Technical Lead for our Test Lab, you will have the exciting opportunity to design the test lab, develop test systems including mechanical design of test fixtures and PCB design, and assist with setting up the lab infrastructure. You will also be responsible for mechanical design and PCB design for test equipment. You will work closely with a dedicated test engineer with a software background and a skilled test technician. Together, your team will execute testing procedures, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to continuous process improvement.
Responsibilities
- Design and plan the layout of the test lab, ensuring it meets all technical requirements.
- Develop test systems, including hardware and software components, for accurate and reliable testing.
- Collaborate with the test engineer and technician to execute testing procedures.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and implement solutions to ensure accurate and reliable testing.
- NPI Support by performing characterization and qualification Test
- Work closely with the engineering and manufacturing teams to integrate testing processes seamlessly.
- Analyze test results and provide valuable insights for product improvement.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Mentor and guide junior team members.
- Maintain a high level of precision and accuracy in all testing processes.
What your background should look like:
- 5-8 years of experience with analog ASIC testing or with MEMS testing.
- Prior experience with setting up test systems.
- Experience in PCB design and mechanical design is necessary.
- Experience with automation of characterization test setups is preferred.
- Strong technical background with knowledge of analog ASIC testing and MEMS testing.
- Proficiency in mechanical design and PCB design.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Passion for precision and accuracy in testing and analysis.
- Ability to design and set up a test lab from the ground up.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
- Strong communication skills.
- Previous leadership or mentoring experience is a plus.
