Job description

ROLE SUMMARY (PURPOSE) The primary responsibility of role incumbent is to prepare and finalize the annual accounts, including completion of statutory audit and tax audit within the prescribed timeline. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Annual Accounts Finalization/ Audit Ensuring correctness of accounts on continuous basis. Preparing branch wise financials ensuring accuracy of the same Preparing consolidated financials ensuring accuracy of the same Co-ordinating with statutory auditors for timely completion of audit. Preparation of schedules / reconciliation/ workings for ensuring correctness and also as required for audit. Other key deliverables Analysis of financial data and providing necessary reports to the Management Implementing systems to ensure the correctness of accounts data on an ongoing basis. Implementing systems to ensure the timely completion of preparation and audit of final accounts. KEY SKILLS & BEHAVIOURAL ATTRIBUTES Knowledge in financial accounting and preparation of final accounts, including as per Companies Act. Should be able to co-ordinate and collect data from the branches in a timely manner. Should be able to co-ordinate with the auditors and complete the audit in the prescribed time. EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE Education – Qualified Chartered Accountant. 2 – 4 years of post-qualification experience in handling accounts and finalization of accounts.
