Job description
The primary role encompasses Investor Relations, focusing on developing a robust strategy and framework for effective communication with stakeholders. This involves maintaining a transparent and consistent internal and external dialogue to uphold a strong corporate reputation. Managing relationships with equity analysts and investors is a crucial aspect, providing valuable insights on market dynamics, and peer benchmarks, and presenting pertinent information to the leadership team. Additionally, the role involves in-depth financial analysis, including competitor behavior and shareholder concerns, ensuring the business is well-informed and responsive to market trends. Overseeing quarterly earnings reports, conference calls, and related communications, in close coordination with the CS team, is another key responsibility. Legal compliance and assisting in the preparation of statutory reports further contribute to this multifaceted role.
In the realm of Mergers and Acquisitions, the focus is on meticulous evaluation and due diligence of potential targets. This includes initial screening and thorough valuation analysis to provide comprehensive reports for decision-making. Serving as the central point of contact, the role effectively manages the entire transaction process, liaising between internal and external parties. Collaboration with various advisors is pivotal, ensuring expert input on legal, structural, and taxation matters. This dynamic role requires astute judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to navigate complex financial and legal aspects, ultimately contributing to the company's strategic growth initiatives.Chartered Accountant/ MBA with 10+ years of post-qualification experience
Previous experience in the retail/consumer/FMCG/F&B sector is a valuable asset.
