We are looking for a very experience Embedded Software Engineer for our project in Sweden.Position : Sr. Embedded Software EngineerExperience : 8+ Years of experience.Location : SwedenStart Date : 2024-04-01Job Description :The primary responsibility will be to design, implement, and optimize a Linux-based automotive operating system. This role demands expertise in embedded systems, virtualization technologies, low-level system development, and a strong commitment to ensuring the security and efficiency of the automotive operating system.Key Responsibilities (in decreasing order of priority) :1. Programming and Scripting : Proficiently program in C and employ bash and Python scripting for task automation and system customisation. 2. Yocto Project and Customized Distribution : Leverage the Yocto Project for customized Linux distribution development, ensuring alignment with product-specific requirements.3. Hypervisor and Virtualization : Design and implement a reference development system with a Linux kernel and Xen hypervisor.4. Guest OS Configuration : Configure the hypervisor to manage multiple guest OS instances, including Linux for non-critical applications and a real-time operating system (RTOS) for time-sensitive and safety-critical tasks.5. Custom Image Configurations : Develop custom configurations for different guest OS images within the Xen hypervisor to accommodate diverse application requirements.6. Network Security : Implement robust network interfaces and network bridges to ensure the secure data exchange between guest OS instances, addressing critical data security concerns in the self-driving car context.7. Collaboration and Documentation :- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project milestones, fostering effective communication and teamwork. Contribute to documentation efforts, ensuring clear and detailed records of BSP releases and development processes.- Experience with ISO 26262 project/code is a great add-on but not a blocker.
