Overview:
As an Industrial Designer specializing in Packaging Design you will play a critical role in creating innovative and visually appealing packaging solutions for our products. You will collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure that the packaging not only enhances the products appeal but also meets functional and cost requirements.
Company Overview:
Our client a wellrecognized Switchgear & Low Voltage Panel manufacturer in India is currently seeking Industrial packaging designer.
Location: Sector 5 Faridabad
Work Mode: Fulltime from Office (5 days a week Alternate Saturday working)
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop innovative packaging concepts that align with brand messaging and marketing objectives
- Collaborate with product development and manufacturing teams to ensure feasibility and costeffectiveness of designs
- Utilize 3D modeling software to create prototypes and visualize design concepts
- Conduct market research and stay updated on industry trends to inform design decisions
- Create detailed technical drawings and specifications for packaging production
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to source materials and prototype packaging
- Manage multiple packaging design projects simultaneously ensuring timely delivery
- Contribute to sustainable and environmentally friendly packaging solutions
- Present design concepts and prototypes to internal stakeholders and clients
- Participate in packaging testing and validation to ensure product safety and integrity
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree/diploma in Industrial Design Packaging Design or related field
- Proven experience in packaging design preferably in consumer goods industry
- Proficiency in 3D modeling software such as SolidWorks Rhino or similar
- Strong understanding of materials and manufacturing processes related to packaging
- Excellent graphic design skills with a keen eye for aesthetics and branding
- Project management and time management skills to handle multiple projects
- Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams
- Knowledge of sustainability principles and experience in ecofriendly packaging design
- Experience in conducting market research and trend analysis
- Strong presentation and visualization skills to articulate design concepts
- Understanding of regulatory requirements and standards related to packaging
- Portfolio demonstrating successful packaging design projects
- Ability to adapt to fastpaced and evolving product development environments
