Job Title: Compensation and Benefits Specialist

Job Overview:

The Compensation and Benefits Specialist plays a key role in designing, implementing, and managing the organization's compensation and benefits programs. This position involves evaluating and analyzing salary data, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, and providing strategic guidance to enhance employee satisfaction and retention. Responsibilities: 1.

Compensation Analysis: · Conduct market research to benchmark the organization's compensation structure against industry standards. · Analyze internal salary data and external market trends to ensure competitive and equitable compensation practices. · Collaborate with HR and hiring managers to develop and implement salary structures for various roles. 2.

Benefits Administration: · Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks. · Communicate benefits information to employees, ensuring understanding and awareness. · Evaluate and recommend improvements to the benefits package to enhance employee satisfaction. 3.

Compliance: · Stay current with state, and local regulations related to compensation and benefits. · Ensure the organization's practices comply with relevant laws and regulations. · Prepare and submit required reports to regulatory agencies as necessary. 4.

Job Evaluation: · Conduct job evaluations to determine appropriate salary levels and classifications. · Review and update job descriptions to reflect accurate responsibilities and qualifications. 5.

Performance Management: · Collaborate with the HR team to align compensation and benefits strategies with performance management processes. · Assist in the development and implementation of performance-based compensation structures. 6.

Employee Communication: · Communicate changes in compensation and benefits programs to employees. · Address employee inquiries regarding compensation and benefits, providing clear and accurate information.

Qualifications: · Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field. · Proven experience in compensation and benefits administration. · Strong analytical and quantitative skills. · Knowledge of relevant employment laws and regulations. · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. · HR certification (e.g., Certified Compensation Professional - CCP) is a plus.
