Civil & Structural
- Shall be able to carry out design of RCC structure and Steel structures using software tools as well as manual calculations in a given timeline.
- Shall have exposure to the design of Industrial structures / elements used in Steel plants/ Power plants/ Hydrocarbon/ Chemical/ Automobile plants like foundation / superstructure of technological building structure, structural towers (like mill tower, transfer tower / junction house), tanks, warehouse, pump house, silos, Conveyors etc.
- Exposure to the other areas / plants / sectors like Airports, Metro, High speed rail, Sewage treatment system, Water treatment system, etc will be an added advantage.
- Shall be able to perform his role by leading the Project from the inception to the construction including facing Client, Contractors / Suppliers and other stakeholders involved in Project execution.
- Shall be able to arrive at optimum design solutions including value engineering.
- Shall be able to estimate the quantity quickly based on experience for the inputs to Business Development for tender purpose.
- Attend site queries, able to issue site modification sketches to support on a real time basis.
- Shall be able to prioritize the assignments based on the Project / Site demand.
- Shall have ability to perform interdepartmental check / coordination to ensure zero gap in interdisciplinary delivery.
- Collaborate and Coordinate with other disciplines.
- Exposure to Indian standards and international standards,
- Shall have good command on the software tools like AutoCAD, 3D modelling tool or any other design software as necessary for the superstructure & substructure design.
- Shall have good and fluent communication including writing skills.
- Review 3D Models from team / subconsultants and Contractor.
- Record the lesson learnt from each project and implement it across ongoing and new Projects.
- Shall be open to travel to the Client office for technical discussions.
- Shall have design experience of working in green and brown field Projects
Qualifications, Experience and Skills
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum years of experience
Minimum Bachelor's in Engineering
(Civil)
8-12 years of experience in design of Industrial structures / elements used in Steel plants/ Power plants/ Hydrocarbon/ Chemical/ Automobile plants like foundation / superstructure of technological building structure, structural towers (like mill tower, transfer tower / junction house), tanks, warehouse, pump house, silos, Conveyors etc.
Exposure to other sectors like Airports, Metro, High speed rail, Sewage treatment system, Water treatment system, etc will have added advantage
Computer / software tool experience / Codes & Standards
- Knowledge in Design software like STAAD Pro (Must), ETABS, SAFE & AutoCAD.
- Knowledge in International Codes like Euro Codes, ACI codes, etc will be an added advantage.
- Advanced PC skills, specifically Microsoft Windows Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint).
