Position: Senior Mechanical Design Engineer - Tyre Pyrolysis Plants
Location: Trichy/Chennai, India with short visits to Spain and Turkey for data collection.

Role Overview: We are on the lookout for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer with profound expertise in process plant design and a solid engineering background of at least 10 years. This role is crucial for designing and developing cutting-edge pyrolysis plants in Turkey and Spain. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical expertise, innovative thinking, and a passion for sustainable solutions, underpinned by mechanical or chemical engineering principles.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Spearhead the design and mechanical engineering efforts for tyre pyrolysis plants, ensuring adherence to industry standards, sustainability goals, and specific project requirements.
- Conduct detailed engineering analyses, including process simulations, risk assessments, and efficiency optimizations, to inform design decisions.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive design documentation—drawings, specifications, and technical reports—aligning with regulatory standards and industry best practices.
- Facilitate cross-disciplinary collaboration to integrate engineering solutions from concept to implementation, ensuring project success.
- Remain current with technological advancements and trends in pyrolysis and sustainable engineering, integrating innovative solutions into design practices.
- Mentor junior engineers and technical staff, promoting a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
- Travel as needed to Turkey and Spain for design validation, troubleshooting, and ongoing project support.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in engineering design, preferably with a focus on pyrolysis plants, renewable energy systems, or related technologies.
- In-depth knowledge of engineering principles, proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks), and simulation tools specific to pyrolysis process engineering.
- Proven track record of leading and delivering large-scale engineering projects, from concept through completion, on time and to high standards of technical excellence.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and project management capabilities.
- Outstanding communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with global teams and across cultural boundaries.
- Proficiency in English is mandatory, with additional language skills in Turkish or Spanish highly beneficial.
