Financial Analyst for a Pune based MNC
Location- Pune, MH | Khed
Qualification- CMA
Experience- 2+ years post qualification
General Responsibility:
The Finance Analyst supports the Finance Manager in overseeing the day-to-day financial activities of the plant, managing its financial resources, and ensuring compliance with regulations, accounting principles, and standards.
Duties and Percentage of Time:
Maintain Cost Records: 25%
Calculate & Analyze RM Consumption trends: 15%
Inventory Valuation & Aging: 15%
Support in Budgeting: 10%
Audit & Cost Analysis: 15%
Participate in financial audits: 10%
Support in Account Payable Activities: 10%
Undertake other activities deemed within capability on an as-needed basis.
Duties Standards:
Maintain Cost Records: Ensure accurate calculation & analysis of overhead activity rate. Release monthly cost runs on the system with Finance Controller approval. Analyze cost per unit and make system changes as required.
Calculate & Analyze RM Consumption trends: Prepare monthly RM Consumption Statements, reconcile with plant-calculated consumption, and calculate weekly RM Consumption, reconciling with production department consumption.
Inventory Valuation & Aging: Prepare Inventory Valuation Statements, calculate monthly Inventory Aging, and make provisions for slow & obsolete items in the system quarterly. Calculate Cost vs. NRV statement and make provisions quarterly.
Support in Budgeting: Provide RM consumption details for budgeting and calculate partwise EBITA on a projected sales basis monthly.
Sox Audit & Cost Analysis: Analyze GL-wise costs, calculate Cost per Wheel, and provide details required for Sox Audit, Tax Audit, and Statutory Audit.
Qualification: CMA, ICWA
Job Specifications:
Skills: Organizational, Analytical, Problem Solving, Interpersonal, Communication
Knowledge: CMA, ICWA, minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience in a manufacturing environment (experience in the Automotive Industry is an added advantage).
