Role And Responsibilities

As an Inside Sales Representative, your primary responsibility will be to source new sales opportunities. This includes following up on inbound leads, making outbound cold calls and emails, and understanding customer needs and requirements. Additionally, you will be responsible for routing qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales representatives for further development and closure. It will be your goal to generate qualified leads and achieve monthly quotas. Researching accounts, identifying key contacts, and generating interest will also be part of your role. You will need to maintain and expand your prospect database within your assigned territory. Database profiling and validation, as well as updating the CRM, will be essential tasks.

Candidate Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have a sales background in the IT industry. Preferably, you should have experience selling email solutions, messaging solutions, data center, or hosting solutions. Excellent communication skills, being an active listener, and being versatile and presentable are important qualities. Experience in lead generation and sales calls to clients for pitching, working on targets, and having a track record of over-achieving quota are all highly desired. Experience in database management in a CRM system and at least 1-2 years of experience in the same domain are also required.
