We are seeking a highly competent and driven individual to join our Carbon Finance team as an Analyst/ Associate.
Candidate Profile
The successful applicant will have the following:
???? A minimum of 2 years of experience with a core skill set in financial modelling and business analytics, CAs, a degree in finance, Investment Banking experience, or specific experience in sell-side project financing are a strong plus
???? Sufficient exposure to the 'softer' aspects of business development and account management
???? Consistently demonstrate strong quantitative aptitude and sound financial judgement to improve the pipeline investability
???? Exhibit strong ownership on all activities undertaken and have a systematic approach to facing the complexities that come with the territory of operating in climate finance
???? Bonus: Previous exposure to fund flow in voluntary carbon markets
Key Responsibilities
???? Must be able to interpret complex moving parts of financing large scale carbon-sequestration projects, identify cost and revenue drivers, and corresponding variables that influence each of them
???? Coordinate with the carbon supply team and ensure technical project design and the financial modelling speak to each other and is accurately represented
???? Draft succinct and insightful sell-side investment memos and associated collateral, including pitch decks
???? Own the financial data room, support in investor relations and enable the carbon finance team in successfully undergoing end-to-end due-diligence
