SUMMARY OF JOB

Schneider Electric Global Supply Chain constantly enhances and drives a number of transformations to support its safety, environment, Real Estate and sustainability strategies. Related transformations touch our end-to-end Supply Chain

1. One of the requirements is to be the global subject matter expert, such as carbon footprints and greenhouse gas emission methodologies, circular economy, green packaging and material , etc. with solid expertise in at least one of the relative fields. help to oversee GSC International STRIVE (ie Global Supply Chain 3-year strategic transformation plan) Sustainable transformations by providing technical support and guidance. We have set ambitious targets in terms of Carbon neutrality, Circularity, Safety, and we want to lead this game internationally and have our global Supply Chain be a role model, and conducive to triggering business opportunities.

One of needed transformations in next few years is to embed Environment & Safety considerations deeper in a number of GSC International operational and decision-making processes, as well as reflect accelerated priorities such as Circular Economy.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

· Influence and support EHS & Sustainability agendas in other Functions, where relevant, such as :

o GSC International operation and decision-making processes with EHS & CO2 lens;

o Build up Sustainability culture across GSC International with special focus on Plant and DC.

o Procurement: support the design and roll-out of EHS & Sustainability procedures embedding EHS & Sustainability in operational processes (eg suppliers selection, EHS/Sustainability risk analysis, green materials, green packaging, etc)

o Finance: Environmental liabilities oversight(processes and governance roll-out, coordination with GSC finance functions, etc.)

o M&A: coordinate Post Merger Integration activities, being the EHS “champion” for integration, notably for all Industrial sites

SUCCESS CRITERIA

A successful candidate will be capable of:

· Creating positive collaborations with other Schneider Electric GSC International stakeholders. Ability to team-up and join hands with other teams towards joint success

· Bringing teams together from across the organization, in a non-hierarchical mode, on a variety of transformations

· Bringing actual expertise in one of concerned domains (Sustainability and/or some EHS exposure), contacts, benchmarking, on the way other leading companies are driving similar transformations

· Demonstrating strong communication and influence & convince skills

· Speaking English fluently

· Able to work closely and support cross cultural teams

· Ability to create a positive and mutually beneficial relationship with other members of GSC International as well as Global teams, starting with Safety, Environment and Real Estate professionals

· Shown interest for the EHS & Sustainability space, and a keenness to help Schneider go further in this space

· Process transformation, internal audit, program & change management experiences are plusses

· Last but not least, a great dose of Passion for Sustainability, self-starting attitude, ability to bring new ideas and challenge the status quo, would be great assets for the role

EDUCATION—MINIMUM REQUIRED LEVEL

Graduate / Business or Engineering School or MBA

EXPERIENCE—MINIMUM REQUIRED

·6-10 years in Industry and/or consulting industry, with concrete transformation experience in minimum 1 of the above fields

· Solid project experience and/or qualifications in sustainable development such as sustainable supply chain or decarbonization.

· Understanding of sustainable supply chain trends, standards and guidelines and key assessment systems and tools

· Strong communication and presentation skills, global citizen

· Experience in other Central (or Regional) Corporate Functions driving informal teams (dotted line) can be a plus

· Fluent in both written and oral English

· Learning agility and digital savvy

TRAVEL (10 15% in a non-COVID context)

· Frequent calls/Teams with stakeholders from around the Globe

· Periodical global travels (depending upon sanitary situation)

· Third-party events attendance
