Job Title: Public Relations Specialist

Location: Pune, Maharashtra

Experience: Minimum 2-3 years in PR agency

Responsibilities:

1. **Media Relations:**

- Pitch compelling story ideas, news releases, and press materials to diverse media outlets.

- Cultivate and maintain relationships with journalists, editors, and key media personalities.

- Monitor media coverage and proactively identify opportunities for positive exposure.

2. **Content Creation:**

- Develop engaging and persuasive written content for various platforms, including press releases, articles, blog posts, and social media posts.

- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure messaging consistency across all communication channels.

- Tailor content to different audiences and platforms to maximize impact.

3. **Industry Knowledge Development:**

- Stay abreast of industry trends, news, and best practices in PR to maintain a competitive edge.

- Conduct regular research to understand the evolving media landscape and identify potential opportunities for the organization.

- Provide insights and recommendations to enhance the effectiveness of PR strategies.

4. **Event Management:**

- Assist in planning and executing events that contribute to the organization's PR objectives.

- Coordinate media attendance, interviews, and coverage during events.

5. **Reporting and Analysis:**

- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of PR campaigns through metrics and analytics.

- Prepare regular reports on media coverage, sentiment analysis, and other relevant KPIs.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or related field.

- Proven track record with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a PR agency.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Demonstrated ability to create compelling content for various media platforms.

- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with media professionals.

- Proficient in media monitoring tools and analytics.

- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.

- Knowledge of the local media landscape in Pune, Maharashtra, is a plus.
