Job description

The key roll and responsibilities would be as under:

1. To understand the hospital network, purchase department, pharmacy department and other departments which influence the decision in hospital related purchases

2. Identify the key decision maker, particularly the budget decision maker for pharmacy/hospital purchases

3. Identify the influencers in the hospital hierarchy for decisions related to budget and purchase

4. Call upon the head pharmacy & other stakeholders in the hospitals network associated to the pharmacy decisions

5. Awareness and education focusing on quality, innovation and other aspects which would help the pharmacist to choose the right brand for patients suffering from IFI

6. Work in close coordination with the distributor field force and ensuring seamless execution of the pilot. 

7. This team may or may not call upon physicians. (To be discussed with the distributor partner)

The criteria for selection of the KAMs would be as below:

  1. 10-15 years of Pharmaceutical experience (preferred companies: Cipla, Lupin, Celon Laboratories Ltd, Bharat Serums & Vaccines)
  2. 8-10 years of experience in critical care or super specialty segment, with existing knowledge of how pharmacies operate in corporate hospitals
  3. 3-5 years of experience in a Multi-national pharmaceutical company
  4. 8-10 years’ experience in managing large private accounts like Apollo, Max group, Fortis etc.
