What you'll be doing: - Supporting the Accounts Payable Team Leader with Accounts Payable duties for the Headwater travel brand.
- Responsible for the processing of accounts payable entries against customer bookings on the Softrip reservation system.
- Ensuring invoices are accurately paid in a timely manner in line with supplier contracts.
- Maintaining accurate supplier payment information on the Softrip reservation and SAP Finance systems
- Updating booking costs on the Softrip reservation system to show any additional spend incurred.
- Protecting our booking margins by raising issues on overspend and recommending corrective actions.
- Ensuring supplier payment batches are accurate and loaded to the bank correctly.
- Working closely with our UK based Headwater team, keeping them informed on the payment status of suppliers.
- Ensuring that paid transactions have adequate audit trails in our SAP finance system via electronic invoice tagging.
- Depending on monthly transaction volumes, assisting the UK team with any other ad-hoc invoice payments or reconciliations.
- Ensure best practice processes are followed and financial transactions are clearly and accurately posted.
- Understanding our cash forecasting processes and how supplier payment management assists cashflow targets.
- Develop strong working relationships with the UK finance teams and wider business, working closely to ensure accounting requirements are met.
- Work alongside the Exodus wide finance teams encouraging a very strong environment of control & risk awareness.
What we're looking for: - Accounts payable experience
- Track record of working in international organisations.
- Experience in roles which require considerable coordination and collaboration with internal stakeholders.
