Job description

JOB Description: Installation and setup of Windows servers

Hands on experience on IBM, HP physical Servers

Installation of Proprietary and Third Party Software

Troubleshoot Hardware failure issues and coordinate with hardware vendors wherever necessary

Monitoring server s usage statistics (CPU Utilization, Memory & Disk Space Usage with

Troubleshoot Windows OS issues

Hands on experience in Citrix environment maintaining of published application

Experience on VERITAS cluster management

Patch Management of Severs via SCCM

SCOM alert monitoring

Experience in production support

Good knowledge/understanding on Threat Analysis and Risk assessment and mitigation

SCOM, MOM, IBM Directory & SMURF etc.. Monitoring tools

Wintel related experience

Adequate documentation for daily startup, shutdown and emergency operational procedures of the servers.

Managing and resolving Escalated issues from Customers.

Windows based applications installation and troubleshooting

Follow guideline and Bank standard procedure to ensure compliance with audit and security requirements

Monitoring support queues and alerts: email, phone

Take backup/ restore using VERITAS Net backup or similar tools

Participate in cross train within team members for all applications support by team

Working on the ticketing system like Info man, Virtual Ticket, Peregrine etc

Good working knowledge/understanding on client firewall tools, Managing Auto location

24 x 7 support (ready to work in shifts)
