NEW BRAND from FINLAND with a unique curriculum being launched in INDIA - We are hiring Principals for a chain of play schools to be launched shortly - the first of which will start operations in Gurgaon as a PLAY SCHOOL + DAY CARE unit. The Gurgaon school will be followed by more units in various cities. AGE NO BAR - ENERGY LEVELS IMPORTANT MANDATORY : IMMERSIVE EXPERIENCE FOCUSED ON PLAYSCHOOLS SCROLL DOWN FOR JOB DESCRIPTION & CANDIDATE PROFILE JOB DESCRIPTION : To FOUND & HEAD the school. - Establishing the school, launching it and stabilising operations - putting it on the path to a successful build up as per plans. - Overseeing day to day operations to be performed by the School Leadership Team - providing longer term strategic leadership as part of the senior management team. KRAs: Introduction, implementation & internalisation of systems and policies Spearheading the introduction & integration of academic, pastoral care and co-curricular activities of the Play school. Fostering of an environment in which all students are given the opportunity to realize their full potential in educational, sporting, cultural, service, sustainability and personal pursuits. Monitoring & controlling financial and other resources and assisting in planning and managing the budget Training and professional development activities to continuously upgrade the knowledge pool and skill sets the school team. Collection, collation & analysis of data for feeding back into development steps focused at school as well as student level. Parent relationships Recruitment Compliance - Statutory Measures beyond statutory, proactively focused on student safety, health and well being __________ Qualifications DESIRED CANDIDATE PROFILE : AGE NO BAR - ENERGY LEVELS MORE Post graduate degree in Early or Primary Education / Child Psychology or Masters in Education ( M.Ed. )3+ years of hands-on experience as HEAD of PLAY SCHOOL ( Higher as well as Lower level positions NOT to be counted - DO NOT INCLUDE years in which you had responsibility for students of classes higher than Play School - ALSO DO NOT include positions below the level of the HEAD of the Play school) . Experience in developing / teaching enquiry based early childhood curriculum. Exposure to international curricula is a MUST AGE - - no specific age ceiling being imposed ....
